Wow. I am in awe of what I just read. The world, the magic system, the characters, the politics, the soul-bound wraiths! All of it was so complex yet written so beautifully that I was never lost or confused. I was rooting for Caelia and Thalion and I am SO happy with how this book ended – it definitely gave me a few heart attacks along the way though! 😭 The moment I read about his curse, my heart was shattered. Trust Caelia though to not let death claim her man 🤭❤️🔥 I cannot wait to read the next one!

A stunning read if you enjoyed books like Zodiac Academy and ACOTAR! It has magic, it has cheeky wraithes, it has a kick ass princess assassin, and a brooding sorcerer (who think he knows best). The end will leave you wanting MORE!!! The world building is beautiful and makes you feel like you’re there. the wraithes make you want to have a bond like no other with something so intense. Just an absolutely well written piece of literature!
